Dedicated to crafting intricate maps of my local surroundings, a significant part of my work reflects my life as an avid outdoorsman near Lake Tahoe. This video exhibits the art process of creating my 4th artistic rendition of Tahoe. Lake Tahoe, often referred to as the “Lake of the Sky,” is a breathtakingly beautiful alpine lake nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, straddling the border of California and Nevada. Its crystal-clear blue waters, surrounded by towering pine forests and snow-capped peaks, creates a scene of unparalleled natural splendor. The moniker “Lake of the Sky” was bestowed upon it by Mark Twain, who was captivated by its stunning vistas and the way the sky seemed to merge seamlessly with the water’s horizon.
